A Black Beauty

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to post a little something, something lol I had to do a PowerPoint presentation for school and I wanted to dress up for the occasion to make myself look professional, yet fashionable and cute. So this is what I came up with...btw I took these pictures after I came back from school and I wanted to take pictures with our Christmas tree hehe lol
I was having fun messing around with my photo editing and I ended up being festive with my purple, holiday photo lol

I also wore boots.. I forgot to take photos of them but I found a picture of some Aldo boots that look somewhat similar to my actual ones--mine are from Aldo as well.

I straighten my hair (which I love to do lol) and wore as much simple makeup as possible (didn't want to overdue it) and wore silver hoop earrings. I decided to go all black because I figured black is a very sophisticated, and professional color. I always say if you ever need to dress up for something professional ( job interview, presentation, etc) and you don't know what to wear, be safe and go all black, you really can't go wrong doing so. That's what I did!

Anyways, hope you enjoyed! Be safe and remember

Brush, Brush, and more lovely brushes

Good Afternoon Guys! :)

I posted a video on youtube yesterday, regarding a review I did on the Kirkland; Costco makeup brushes. They sell at only $18.99 which is amazing for the whole complete set. It brings 8 professional soft bristle brushes, a 4 piece travel set, a lash curler, and a makeup bag. All of that for a good affordable price! I was waiting in April (when I heard of them) to purchase the brushes. The down side was I had to wait until November or December to get them :P But now I finally got them! :D
yay!

The Case

The Inside. Many compartments for your items

Close up of the brushes

I believe they are only a Christmas offer, because every year they arrive at Costco right around November/December. I think they have been doing this since 2006? I'm not sure, but in any case totally worth your money for a beginner set.

Check out my video to get a glimpse of the brushes and what not.

First Entry! Yay me! :)

Hey Everyone! So this is my first official post to my new blog! I am excited to jump start on this band wagon lol! I've blogged in the past but I always found myself trying to figure out what kind of blog I really wanted to do. Which brings me to my love of fashion! Just a couple of years ago I really discovered that I wasn't too shabby in putting together outfits(hell, I help some family and friends plan out their outfits for events!) I figured if I really wanted to try my hand at seeing if I have any career in fashion I can start by blogging and showing the world my skills. So come with me on this journey everyone! lol

To kick start my first entry I have an outfit that I put together last week and took photos of it. Hope you like :)

I wore one of my favourite pieces of jewelery, this beautiful one of a kind ring. My dad bought me this ring on our summer trip -- this year-- at Dominican Republic. It's called "Larimar", beautiful gem only found in Dom Republic.
